MUA BLUSH PERFECTION Cream Blusher Review

Today I'll be talking about cheeks and a product that I'm enjoying a lot lately to help me get a natural and fresh complexion.

MUA BLUSH PERFECTION Cream Blusher

Described in the site as "very versatile and multi-purpose. They can be directly applied to bare skin, layered over foundation or set with the matching matte blushers in the £1 MUA range. You can use blush perfection to highlight your cheekbones, shape your face, build and blend with fingers or a brush to create the colour intensity"

Out of the 4 shades available I have 3: Blossom, Yummy and Dolly. The 4th one is Bittersweet a light baby pink.

I find the packaging to be quite sturdy for such a cheap  product, which I like. I like how compact it is so it is travel friendly and for only 2£ it's an ok amount of product. It's great that you can see the color through the lid so you can pick directly the color without much hassle. However, one of the things I don't like about MUA products is the labelling. Blossom was the first one I tried and therefore the oldest one out of the three and like you see the front label is almost gone. Not big deal I supposed but it makes the product look old.

Like you see, the color shade changes slightly depending on the light. I would describe Blossom as a nude pink/bronze color perfect for "no make-up" days or really heavy eye make-up, Yummy is your typical dusty rose that gives a cold rush to the cheeks and Dolly is your bright peach color- it does look brighter in person and quite orengy.

In terms of pigmentation Yummy and Dolly are quite pigmented while Blossom is slightly more sheer, which you would expect anyways from a lighter color.

Blending is very easy, either with your fingers or with an stippling brush. In both cases I would highly recommend applying the product on the cheeks with the fingers first, since the warmth from the skin would melt the product a little bit and it will make it more pigmented. If you dip the brush directly, the product might seem dry and not as pigmented.

The staying powder in my skin is pretty good. I can go a whole day without touching up but it is true that by the end of the day there will be little color left. I increse the staying powder by applying some translucent powder on top as a finish touch.

Do I recommend them? Absolutly!! =)
